What is SEO -( Search Engine Optimisation)

Hi,

Search Engine Optimisation, or SEO as it is commonly known is basically the stuff you do, on and off your website to get it listed high up on the Search Engines (Google, Yahoo etc.) when someone searches for the keywords (search term) you are targeting.

Example: If you are a Builder in Exeter your target keywords may be: Builders in Exceter

So, you would optimise your website for the keywords; Builders in Exceter

The better your SEO, potentially the higher up on google your site will appear.

The higher up on the 1st page of Google your site is listed, potentially the more visitors and potential customers will arrive at your site.

Tried that had my site optimized 4 months ago
google have adwords that you are constantly paying for
the problem I`ve had is in the last 2 months 90 percent of my calls have been from companies that all claim that they have the most visits last month looking for builders in your area and all cliam to be able to put you on the 1st page of google when in fact they are paying constantly to put themselves on the front page with you in their listings and your paying for them
the best way is to hit your own sit as many times and as often as possible
this puts you on the second page and get a free listing on as many sites as you can
when the sites with the free listing call they will start to brag about things and you should only ask 2 things
1 when is the free listing going to appear? cause if you can`t find it on their site now how can you be sure that a paid listing will work

2 If you cliam that i will receive upto six times the ammount of enquiries
how long will it take to set up
and ask them because when we visit a property we have to prove we can do as we cliam
i will take a 30 day free trail after it is set up and if it works then we will take it on
None of them will give you this but it stops them in thier tracks and you don`t have to listen to them for another ten minutes

you are interested in giving google another go:

1) Get you on the first page of google twice, tomorrow
(not google adwords, and not just a listing) when someone
searches for: Builder Bolton

2) Give you 30 days free trial. (no obligation thereafter)

3) Give you actual websites just dedicated to you, not just
listings people cant find.

4) Give you a report of exactly who visited your webpages
after 30 days to see if you are happy with the results, so that
you can make an informed decision about continual advertising.
