The relationship you have with your customers is what keeps you in business, you can spend all your efforts acquiring new customers but to really grow your profits it pays to mine your existing customers relationship for all it’s worth.
Selling to your existing customers is at least 10 times easier than selling to someone who has never used you before. So to make more money you simply start offering your existing customers new services, instead of relentlessly trying to get new customers spend your time coming up with new services that you can offer to your existing customers.
Your existing customers will spend more with you and you will have more services to offer any new customers that come into your business.
Here’s a massive tip! Don’t offer your new service at the lowest price possible.
You want to be earning a decent profit and there is no point in taking on more work if you are not going to earn much more out of it. Your existing customers will pay you more for the service than they would pay someone they have never used before.
You will be able to charge more for your new service than your competitors because your existing customers already trust you.
Asking your customers if there is anything else you can offer them is a real eye opener. Ask this question to your best customers “Is there anything that I am not already offering you that you would like me to be offering you” This question will give you some interesting answers and it might give you an extra income stream.
If you asked 1000 Builders Plumbers Electricians if they had asked their customers what other services they require I bet you wouldn't get many people raising their hands.
