I'm Joe Bloggs and this page is an example of how your webpage on Stuff4Contractors could look and how it will help you get more customers.
Your page could help you get new customers through the Search Engines
The first thing I would like to point out is the fact that I have included my Trade (Builders) and Town (Chelmsford) along side my company name. (You can see it on the Blue Bar at the top of this page)
Why have I done that? To make 'My Page' on Stuff 4 Contractors Google friendly, if someone is searching for my services on Google they are not going to search for the Keywords (search term) Joe Bloggs Builders, they are more likely to search for the Keywords Builders in Chelmsford, So if the keywords are in the page title it will make it easier for Google. To change the page title on your S4C page go to your 'My Page' click 'My Settings' and change your name in the 'Name' field.
Also, it helps Google further if I include my keywords on the page a few times, as you can see it says 'Builders in Chelmsford' above my photo and to the right of my photo. It also says 'Builders in Chelmsford' in the previous sentence (oh and in this one). That should do it, i have said 'Builders in Chelmsford' quite a few times now, I think google will get the message.
Show your visitors what you can do.
Uploading photos or even videos of your work is a great way for people to really get a feel for what you have to offer, it is very easy to do and it will give your page a professional look. You can also add a bit of humour if you wish by uploading a funny video from YouTube, if you keep it relevant to your trade it will fit well with your page.
Click 'Add a video' on the Main Page and follow the instructions.
You can also specify who can see specific photos or videos which is perfect if you have a funny video that you do not want your potential customers to see. To prevent everyone from seeing your photos or videos choose the 'Just my Friends' option once you have upload them to your page. You can then entertain your friends without offending potential customers.
